it's starting to hit me...

It is slowly sinking in that in less than four months I will be in Prague!

Recently I have been getting all of the information together for my visa - what a pain! There are all sorts of things that are required, but I think I've gotten it all figured out.

The past week or so I've been a little nervous about traveling to Prague by myself. Sure, there are two other people from NEU going, but they are roommates and already comfortable with each other. I think this may actually be a good thing for me, though, as it will force me to go out and meet people.

Last night I met a girl who did study abroad at Charles University in the Spring of 2006. She got me really pumped up because she was so enthusiastic about her experience. She was the only student from Northeastern that semester. She told me about the dorm, classes and fun/interesting things to do in the city. She also told me about other cities both in and outside of the Czech Republic that she enjoyed visiting. Last week my nervous:excited ratio was about 65:35, now it is definitely 20:80!
